Directions
From Pittsburgh
Take I-376 E/US-22
E/US-30 E toward MONROEVILLE.
Merge onto US-30 E via
EXIT 8A toward FOREST HILLS.
From Route 30, take
the Greensburg/Mount Pleasant exit toward Mount Pleasant.
Continue past the
University of Pittsburgh and the Westmoreland County Fair Grounds.
Turn left in United.
At the stop sign one
mile past the Mammoth Park sign, turn right onto Route 981 South.
Turn left at the next
Mammoth Park sign.
Go 2 miles to the next
stop sign, turn left, and continue on into the park.
From Greensburg:
From Westmoreland Mall
traveling Rt. 30 East, go 2.4 miles to the traffic light at Mt. View Inn.
Turn right on
Marguerite Rd. (You will follow Marguerite Rd. 4.4 miles to the town of
Trauger).
Bear left immediately
continuing on Marguerite Rd. Follow Marguerite Rd. straight through a four-way
stop sign.
Continue on Marguerite
Rd. through another four-way stop/blinking red light in Pleasant Unity.
Continuing on Marguerite Rd. you will come to a stop except right turn sign.
Stop, then go straight
ahead onto Dutch Hill Rd. (Do not bear right onto Rt. 981 South).
At the top of Dutch
Hill Rd., you will come to a stop sign between two churches.
Turn left and go .1
miles. Then make the first right onto Blacksmith Rd. From here go .8 miles.
You will see Mammoth
Park sign on your right.
Turn right into
Mammoth Park.
From the North:
Off of Rt. 30 turn at
the traffic light onto Rt. 981 South.
At the four way stop
turn right towards the airport.
Continue straight and
make a left onto Rt. 130 East.
Travel 1.2 miles to
the next stop sign and turn right.
Continue straight for
2.2 miles and turn right onto Blacksmith Rd.
The park entrance is a
half-mile down the road on the left.
From the South:
Follow Route 31 to Rt.
982 North.
Follow the signs to
the park.
